Esther starts to walk just right after her birthday!

Another update on Esther's accomplishment: She started to really let go of her hands from supports and walk on her own just 3 days after her birthday!
That was a really big hurdle and accomplishment for my girl. She was quite skeptical when we hold out our hands for her hold on as support when she was learning to walk. She was very cautious and careful all the while. And when she at last took the bold step out without holding anything, it was a great breakthrough.

And now at near 15 months, she was practically running around the house.
There is nowhere to far and difficult to reach. She can even climb up the sofa and bed on her own, exploring every single space she can squeeze in.

Which is why I am not very free to take pictures of her now; Because I am busy chasing after her every moment she's awake hahaha....

16 March 09 was the actual day of Esther's birthday. We took leave to be with her and brought her out for our own tiny celebration as a family.

Swensens was an obvious choice with their FREE birthday firehouse ice cream for the birthday girl keke =)

We had lunch there and had the ice cream served to Esther after that.

Esther really enjoyed her birthday cos she got to eat french fries and ice cream with us!

What a treat for the Princess of the day!!!

It's PARTY TIME !!!!!!!

We had a small party to celebrate Esther's 1st birthday at home on the 15th March 2009, sunday.

It was a small affair with the extended families and a couple friends.
The hall was decorated with a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sign and balloons were hung on the walls.
I also prepared some party packs for the children and catered a simple spread of buffet lunch for the guests.
All in all, it was a simple lunch with simple deco. But nonetheless, it was a beautiful day with beautiful memories as it marks another milestone in Esther's development.
And I am sure all the family members and the guests had a wonderful time just as Esther did!
Hello all fellow followers of Esther's blog. It has been donkey years since i last blogged. And my dear Esther baby is ardy coming to 15 months old. Time for me to update a little bit before time starts flying pass again....
